Pic of the Day – Indigofera kirilowii ‘Angyo Snow’

This new Indigofera is one of the best for heavy flower coverage early in the season as the foliage is starting to expand. The masses of pea blossoms are pure white and help to temper the exuberant, bright colors of other flowering plants at this time. It flowers heaviest in full sun and average garden soils but will grow in shade and tolerate drought once established. For the best show, cut the stems to the ground in winter and expect the branches of fine foliage to reach about 3′ tall during the growing season.
