Pic of the Day – Hydrangea aspera ‘Burgundy Bliss’

This large leaved hydrangea has new spring growth that emerges deep burgundy. Huge mauve-pink lacecap flowers top the stout stems in summer. Color on the east coast seems to be best when planted in dappled shade.
